Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 19, 2026

WinPath ("we", "us", "our") provides a career readiness platform for student-athletes. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you use winpath.org and related services (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information — name, email, password, and the role you select (athlete, parent, coach, partner).
  • Profile & assessment data — sport, school, class year, survey responses, soft-skills assessments, and roadmap progress you create on the platform.
  • Contact submissions — when you fill out a contact form, the information you provide is stored in our CRM so we can reply.
  • Usage data — log data such as device, browser, IP address, and pages visited, used to operate and improve the Service.

2. How We Use Information

  • To deliver the Service, including personalized roadmaps and progress tracking.
  • To respond to inquiries submitted through our contact form.
  • To improve product quality, security, and reliability.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. AI Features

Some features use AI models from third-party providers (e.g., Google, OpenAI) to generate guidance, summaries, or coaching responses. Inputs you submit to AI features may be processed by these providers under their own terms. We do not sell your data to AI providers for model training.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

5. Data Storage & Security

Data is stored on our managed backend (Lovable Cloud) with row-level security controls. We use industry-standard safeguards, but no system is 100% secure.

6. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers that help operate the Service (hosting, analytics, AI), and when required by law.

7. Children & Student-Athletes

The Service is intended for users age 13 and older. Users under 18 should use the Service with the involvement of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the address below. You can also delete your account from your profile settings.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service.
